Instore Dublin shop front

Instore wins Irish Retailer of the year award.

Instore Dublin shop frontInstore Stillorgan has won the prestigious Irish retailer of the year award at the FBD Retail Excellence awards. The awards were announced at a ceremony on Saturday November 7th at the Lyrath hotel in Kilkenny. Early in the night Instore won best retailer in its category of Best Extra Large Store and then went onto win the overall award as National Retail Store of the Year. Oliver Moloney CEO of Instore accepted the Award along with Helena Murray, manager of the Dublin store.

This award is a huge achievement and is evidence of Instore’s commitment to retail excellence across all its 7 stores but particularly mention must be made of the Dublin store at Stillorgan. The standard was incredibly high and winning the award is a landmark for this Irish owned retailer. Instore has been in business 21 years and its commitment to product choice, value and emphasis on the customer has been reflected in this award.

This stringent competition demands the best from Irish retail stores across several categories from overall appearance to product display and staff knowledge and the award is a confirmation of Instore’s high standards in all these areas.

Instore would like to thank its entire staff for the hard work and commitment they have shown particularly over the last 12 months and would also like to congratulate the other retailers that won in their individual categories.

They are:

Best Small Store: DocMorris Pharmacy, Dublin.

Best Medium Store: O’Crualaoi, Cork.

Best Large Store: Appleby Dublin, Dublin.

Best Superstore: Ardkeen Quality Food Store

Instore will forge ahead into 2010 with the knowledge that not only does it consider itself the best but that all its retail peers also believe that they are.
