Instore opens in the Heart of Cork

Instore the Irish owned interiors retailer with 6 shops nationwide has announced that it will open a new store in the heart of Cork city at Merchants Quay on the 10th September 2009.
In a new departure for Instore, this concept store will focus mainly on occasional furniture, giftware and accessories. The store will trade under the name Instore Essentials and will allow customers to get the “essential” Instore look for their homes.
Oliver Moloney, CEO, says “These are very difficult times for everyone involved in Interiors retailing in Ireland and I think it is time to take a radically different approach to how we expose our product to the market.”
“The new store at Merchants Quay will be compact by comparison too the standard Instore shop, and will concentrate on the accessories and giftware element of Instore’s business. Everything from, bed linen to dinnerware, candles to table lamps, clocks to picture frames as well as several ranges of occasional furniture from the very popular New England hall tables to the Albion range of home office will be available for purchase at Instore Essentials”
“This is a great opportunity for us to build our brand in a more flexible way. Cork city centre has a vibrant and knowledgeable customer base that will appreciate that we are bringing something different to the Irish market. Instore Essentials will build on the presence our Midleton store has created in the Cork area over the past few years.”
Instore is a 100% Irish owned company that sees this new departure as a way to broaden its appeal and grow its business model.
“This is a new challenge for us which has lead us to look at other expansion opportunities such as opening our very successful “Café Instore” as stand alone outlets”
This autumn is going to bring a new look Instore to Cork city and aims to become an essential part of the interiors shopping experience in Cork.
